Established in 1982, Teresa Coleman Fine Arts is best known for its extensive collection of antique embroidered costumes and textiles from the Qing dynasty and earlier together with accessories such as bound foot shoes, embroidered purses, hats, jewelry and hair ornaments.

The gallery has been working closely with museums, institutions and private collectors over the decades, and has been actively promoting Chinese art and culture through various means such as talks, exhibitions, handling sessions.

For several decades, Luohan Tang has been dedicated to bringing out of the dark caves of art history a landmark of Chinese culture: Chinese lacquer furniture. Alongside porcelain, silk, and tea, lacquer has helped paint the grand portrait of China for the world. Guarding the secrets of its natural origins and complex techniques, lacquer remained a mysterious material to the West for centuries.
